Afternoon Tea and Royal Gossip at The Dorset Inn

Please join me at the gorgeous, historic Dorset Inn in on Saturday, Feb. 6th at 3 p.m for an afternoon of Royal gossip from my newest book,

NOTORIOUS ROYAL MARRIAGES: A Juicy Journey Through Nine Centuries of Dynasty, Destiny and Desire.

From the press release: “Historian and Manhattan-based actress Leslie Carroll is on her way to becoming the go-to-girl when it comes to the real life love (and hate) stories, gossip, and scandals of famous royals.”

So, while The Dorset Inn will be dishing out Afternoon Tea, accompanied by a delectable selection of pastries and sweets prepared by Chef Thom, I'll be dishing about your favorite royals (in costume, no less!)

$15 per person, all inclusive
Please call the Dorset Inn at 802-867-5500 to reserve.

Reservations Required by Feb 2nd.

What could be more fun than a wintry afternoon by the fire together, savoring culinary delights from a top chef in one of the nation's most picturesque towns?

I do hope to see you there!

I wish I could go!

Come down to Georgia next Leslie!

Muse, I wish you could be there, too!

And Amy ... I'd love to return to Georgia sometime. My husband and I were in beautiful Savannah last year for our anniversary (but the people in the independent bookstore weren't very nice to us Yankees).

I would so love to come but I'm in Georgia as well! Wish there were some wonderful little places like that Inn around here!

There is an ever so slight chance that I might be able to con my boyfriend into going. Not too too far away, and actually quite close to my aunt...hmmm, how to approach this...

Oh, that would be so cool!

ROAD TRIP!

My boyfriend gave it the thumbs up - this must be his way of repaying me for going to Indiana and Philadelphia for his vet school interviews in the next 2 weeks! Looking forward to it!

Ooh, hooray! We'll finally get to meet in person!

HOORAY for Heather! You are so lucky your guy is putting up with the meet! So fantastic for you both and I hope you all have a wonderful time. I'll be thinking of you and I'll drink a dainty cup of tea at that time so I can mentally connect =)

When you are through with Amy in Georgia you need to slide on over to North TX & visit me! I am sure some nice Dallas bookstore will be pleasant to you! =)

Scott and I have been known to do motorcycle book tours. Maybe one day we'll do "drive-bys" in GA and TX and I can do reading/signings at your local bookstores and we can all have cups of tea to celebrate meeting in person! :)

Oh, I am so envious of you, Heather. I love having tea at old, historic inns, anyway, but to get to do so with you and Leslie, oh my.

I know you'll both have a wonderful time.

Christine, we'll fully expect you to put in an appearance whenever the next Royal Tea at the Picturesque Historic Inn takes place!
